Halloween Party Meditation

  1. Get deeply relaxed and comfortable, clear your mind of thoughts and stay attuned to your breathing.  Count backwards from 5 to 1 knowing that with each count you will become 5 times more relaxed while remaining awake and alert.
  2. Imagine or Visualize yourself at a beautiful beach, or in a beautiful place in nature.  Notice a space ship, or a flying transportation vehicle appears out of the sky and landing near you.  See what this ship looks like, and where around you it lands.  Notice that one or more “aliens” or spirit guides gets out of the ship and invites you to journey with them.  Feeling safe and secure you agree and come on board.
  3. Imagine them telling you that you have been invited to a very special Halloween (or Samhain) party.  Then imagine them asking you to pick out a costume for the event.  As soon as you think of something in your meditative state immediately visualize yourself wearing that costume.  Whatever you choose will be a symbolic representation of what you desire to create in your life in the coming year.
  4. Imagine yourself flying through time and space with your guides until you go into “hyperspace” or “warp speed”.  Notice what that feels like.  Then let the space ship slow down and notice you suddenly find yourself out of the spaceship and in a room filled with different kinds of beings.  Notice everything in the room including the decorations, the various beings etc.  Start walking around and “introducing” yourself to some of the beings.
  5. This is a very special party and the “guest list” includes loved ones and relatives that have crossed over as well as Angels, Guides, Ascended Masters, ETs, Animal Guides, Faeries and any other beings that your imagination can conjure up.  Allow yourself to meet as many of these beings as you like, then engage yourself in conversation with a one or more of them (one at a time) that you feel most drawn to.  You may or may not recognize who they are.  Feel free to ask questions and always trust the first thing you think, or see, or hear or remember.  You may get a sense of clear knowing with your Spirits or you may get words, images or memories as your method of Spirit communication. The trick is don’t think or judge, be spontaneous and trust EVERYTHING you get.
  6. When it’s time to leave imagine that a being who took you to this place via spaceship/transportation vehicle comes to you and taps you on the shoulder.  Immediately feel yourself back in your physical body.  Then count up from 3 to 1 setting the intention that with each breath you will become awake and alert and will remember everything.  Jot a few notes about your experience in your journal.

Journey to the “Dark Side”

  1. Ground and Center
  2. Do a deep relaxation. Focus on your breathing
  3. Stay focused on breath throughout this entire process. If your thoughts wonder return to your breath. Take note of what thoughts come up, then gently let them go while returning to the breath. Listen for the sound of your breath. Be aware of subtle things like body sensations and emotional shifts.
  4. Now become aware of all the sounds around you while maintaining breath awareness. Allow yourself to hear every sound in detail, starting with the sound of your own breath. Even “distracting noise” should become part of your meditation in a positive way.
  5. Now within the sounds around you find the milliseconds of “no sound”, or the intervals of complete silence in between the pulses of sound. Deep within the rhythmic essence of every noise lies spaces of complete silence (which is an aspect of the Void). Try to find them. Sound travels in waves. Crests and troughs. Our conscious minds are too slow to know this but what we perceive as sound is really an endless oscillation between total noise and complete silence in varying speeds and proportions. Find that space of silence within the sounds – even if you feel you are making it up in your imagination. Stay in this awareness of the silence behind and between the rapid pulses of sound for a few minutes or longer.
  6. Don’t try to analyze or intellectualize this process in any way (as the nature of the void is well beyond human intellect). Just experience it. That is all. Experience then let go. Enjoy the peace and surprising power of this.
  7. Make sure you’re grounded. Deepen your breath and open your eyes. Do this process often. (especially in preparation for the upcoming dark season, when the greater portion of consciousness will be in the void). It will provide you with clarity and help you in every aspect of your life by re-connecting you with your subconscious aspects of mind as well as the ultimate source of all things.

Variation: Do the exact same process but use light instead of sound as your vehicle to enter the void. Become aware of the light (instead of the sounds) which is penetrating your closed eyelids. Now find the pulses of total darkness within the light, or the spaces of darkness which exist in light, the same way you did in step 5 for sound. (light waves travel much faster than sound so you may really have to stretch your imagination for this one).
