On The Trail

Adams-MAWell, it’s been a long weekend; three full days of Mediumship readings in Adams, MA.

The readings went well and I overheard a lot of comments when I stepped out like:

“That was so random and specific”

and “That is so weird that he knew that.”

or “Only my grandmother knew that”.

As a medium, this is exactly the type of statements you want to hear as you feel like it is your job to prove the existence of life beyond the body, or at least I feel it is my job. That’s why evidential mediumship is the only way to go for me.

I want proof.

I came into this just as skeptical as many of the people getting a reading for the 1st time. But it is tiring work as I have to raise my vibration and then keep my concentration level high for long periods of time. Plus, I want to feel the Spirits. I invite them to touch my body, to let me feel what they felt. I ask them to animate my body and to make intimate contact with my energy fields to give us the best possible chance of getting detailed and specific information. The way you set your boundaries in life pretty much carries over into your dealings with the spirit world so they see my energy, know what their limits are, and see what I can and cannot handle.

Mink Hollow TrailGreat Spirit keeps me protected always so I never have to worry about “negative spirits” or getting burnt out by too much energy. It becomes strenuous when I work for consecutive days. I need my downtime to retool and there is no better balance than I know of than to stay healthy and bounce back quickly hiking in nature. The problem is, in December, the weather rarely cooperates on my days off (but the good news is Yoga comes a close second for balance and restoration). Today however was in the high 30s and bright sunshine. Perfect day for a winter hike.

The Mink Hollow Trail is only 5 miles from my house and offers some rugged and beautiful back country hiking in the Catskills. Starting out with bare ground within 2 miles of steady climbing (and a few slips on the snow and ice), I came upon a winter wonderland with over a foot of thawing snow on the ground and beautiful water droplets falling from the snow covered trees above.

Ahh, there’s nothing like talking to heaven and then spending a little time to be there.
