Meditation: Sun Gazing

(only do this within a half hour of sunrise or sunset)

  1. Stand or sit in a comfortable position
  2. Gaze into the sun directly (sun must be near or on the horizon for safety) for about 30 seconds. Allow the solar energy to be absorbed into your body and aura.
  3. Close your eyes for a moment and feel the sunlight glowing from deep within your heart center. Imagine and feel the light and warmth expanding from your heart, emanating it’s life force and healthy energy throughout your body and imagine that your heart chakra IS the sun spreading love and warmth withing you and out into the world around you becoming a beacon of light for yourself and others to grow and heal.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times as you desire.
