Today I’m thinking about community and one of the things I really enjoy about my work is leading my home circles. These are casual development circles covering a variety of topics under the heading of Spirit Communication and Psychic Development. It gives me the opportunity to research and gain experience by teaching different topics. Practicing my own message work, I give my students an opportunity to develop their’s. In these meetings I am the “Facilitator” really as the teachings come through me, not from me and I am a student as much as everyone else.
It’s my way of creating community, or offering a place where like-minded people can get together and share space in the spirit of “Spirit”. Community is the thing that will keep us, the “lightworkers” and “the holders of divine space” strong and united as we move through these earth changes. I’ve recently added a free drop-in meeting to my repertoire which I call “Psychic Support Group” where people can openly discuss the challenges they are experiencing as their psychic abilities heighten and their vibrations increase.
I started doing these development circles under a different name 12 years ago after my first class at Lily Dale when my teacher Sharon Klingler suggested that we attend a development circle. Since I could not find any in my area I decided to start my own and the rest is history. Since then I’ve developed quite a bit so it has worked and the people who have come regularly have also grown in leaps and bounds. One of the things I do for every circle is lead off with a chakra meditation, but I’ve never done the same opening meditation twice and never will (Spirit put me to task to come up with a new meditation every meeting). We’ve now evolved into a meetup group and if you’re interested in attending, or are looking for ideas to start your own group you’re welcome to join us on Meetup and we are The Kingston-Woodstock Psychic Wisdom Meetup Group (I’ve got to shorten that name lol). Namaste.
